I.E. flanders and Paris-vasco fiasco!
Flanders is under the classics so wont score young riders.
Vasco young riders were scored....
Was refering to Ray Sil post in Vasco thread.....
There is no startlist to work from yethttp://www.amstel.nl/evenementen/amstelgoldrace/wedstrijd/teams-oud
Does that mean you have time to fix the names if you're not going to be working on the Amstel start list?
*Sigh!* I thought of you as I was looking back at last year's Ardennes competition. I was under the impression that last year we were updating the start lists with much more flexibility and doing a couple of updates a few days before the race. I don't know. It may be my imagination, but I think you're being very *strict* and *unreasonable* with this there's 'no official start list' thing... Again, I don't think this was such an issue last year, at least I don't remember it that way... I have no idea what was used last year but I feel like your insistence not to trust PCS, or cyclingfever, for that matter, seems a little 'stiff' for the modern era... I know you have to have seen them, but here are the start lists for cyclingfever (http://www.cyclingfever.com/editie.html?detp=view&_ap=startlijst&editie_...) and PCS(http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Amstel_Gold_Race_2014-Startlist) ... Both lists have 238 riders in them... PCS shows 5 confirmed rosters...
It can't be that (!) difficult to activate those riders, or is it? Hell, if you want, I'll track how many changes they make from here to race time to confirm there aren't , say, more than 10 changes to the start lists between now and race time... 90% accuracy on a first run would be pretty good in my book!
So, I'd guess you'd have to 'activate' the 238 riders on the start list, and that would take, what? 238 mouse clicks? You can do it! I believe in you! Look, if you have to do more than 15 changes, I'll buy you a beer, ok?
Anyways, I loved it when I saw the pride in this:
9th April 2013
I just wish you wouldn't be so stubborn about not uploading anything but the official start list I don't remember having this issue at all (!) last year, and I have the impresion you're the only one who refuses to put anything up but the 'official start list'. Of course, I may be wrong... but it'd be nice to have the start list updated, please? How difficult is it? Is it a pain?
This is what's crazy. Last year, you said:
in the Amstel Gold Race thread (http://road.cc/content/forum/80464-amstel-gold-race)
So please, I appeal to that beautiful, organized head of yours, please reconsider, please?
Yay! All my riders are 'active' and not grayed out... Thank you, you beautiful hunk of manhood! You're beautiful and I adore you...
Posted to the Rider Names thread...
When does the game rider roster switch over to the riders for Amstel Gold?
Hoping Brabantse Pijl gives us an indication on Gilbert, Gallopin, and Dan Martin.
I will be watching Brabantse Pijl closely. I have done quite well in the Spring Classics so far, but have no idea about team selection for Amstel. Is it the same finishing circuit as last year?
Amstel's finish is the same I believe. Brabantse Pijl was a great chance to see Gilbert back to form. Should be an exciting Amstel, even though I'm only vying for Road.cc stage wins in the Spring Classics because I missed Roma Maxima way back when.
