I do! I'll miss you! Write!
No changes today. I can't think of any riders to pick to get me no points better than my previous point avoiding riders. Go Felline!
I need 8 for Thursday! Damn useless sprinters. Should have just picked some puncheurs for stage 1 and had done with it. Would have got loads more points, and had loads of transfers.
1 change for tomorrow which gives me 4 for thursdays summit finish........
This Vuelta reminds me of the first few weeks of the Tour with Nibali and a lot of not-Sagan victors. Lots of big names gone missing when you think they'd be in the mix.
No changes for me tonight.
When it ain't broke...
Oh it is broken.
Oh f*ck it.
Wholesale tomorrow night.
That leaves a choice of two in my book.
8 of my team are 66/1 or better to win, and my other is Mas
Hofland is 6th fav at the bookies for tmw.
But what has he done so far? Congrats if he does well but time was time, and who ive brought in could go well
Made my two transfers for tomorrow.....not gonna be saving any put it that way...
Hofland and Stuyven out, hope Ive got this right
only 4 scorers today but still got 108 points. This is my best tour so far and i've probably now gone and put the jinx on myself
YEEEEE HAAAAA
A whole update without someone moaning that it hasn't finished yet.
That is me finished with the Vuelta for a while, because I set off at 5.30 tomorrow on the road to Ireland and will be crewing a rider on Race Around Ireland from 31st
He's obviously locked himself out of the house, or something.
Degenkolb, Matthews and Mondory
Degenkolb and Matthews were in my team yesterday. Waste of 20 penalty points
Degenkolb and Matthews for me. Rubbish again.
I had Degenkolb. That's it. Oh and Mas retains the polka dot jersey.
Just Matthews for me in the top 20

'We've got an escape attempt already. Four riders have gone off the front. They are Francisco Javier Aramendia (Caja-Rural), Gert Joeaar (Cofidis), Sebastien Turgot (AG2R-La Mondiale) and Jimmy Engoulvent (Europcar)'

Gerald Ciolek (MTQ)
Oscar Gatto (CAD)
Moreno Hofland (BLK)
I really really need a decent stage.
I've started the process of moving towards climbers. Tshopp in for today onwards.
Matthews and Mondory just helped keep my head above water yesterday.
Had a few transfers up my sleeve so out goes - Serry, Moreno, Gilbert.
In come - Stuyven, Bouhanni, Bennati. That's it for a few stages.
The way I'm going it's sure to be a big mistake.
Riders will cross the finishing line for the first time before taking on a 38 km loop around the area.
This loop includes the first category 2 climb of this year’s Vuelta a España; Alto del Catorce por Ciento. Despite the fearful name, most of the 8 km towards the top aren’t very steep. The average gradient is set to 4.7 %. However, about a kilometer from the top, the climb lives up to its name of 14 %.
I'm in contention for the lanterne. Nuff said.
One change for me tonight, got rid of Castroviejo and brought in someone else. Carry over the rest of my transfers until stage 6. No doubt.
Putting Sagan in on Stage 2 and leaving him for Stage 3 has already basically put me out of contention for anything at all.
This is going to hurt. Phil Gil and Dani Moreno was a mistake yesterday, plus Castroviejo is out of the points. It shouldn't be penalty time so early.
Picking Felline over Stuyven was annoying when I took one Trek rider out after TTT
I have had horrendous first weeks in all grand tours so far
Going to stick wit it for this one. Todays stage suggests, Matthews, Bouhanni and Mondory out of m team should defo make it. Stuyven and Gatto weren't too far off so again should be ok. Only slightly worried by how far off Hofland was, but going to stick with him. Also think Degenkolb will be at the finish of this one. Thinking Mas for Moreno as my only change for now maybe.
After stage 3 I'm relying on chicken bones...
Tempted to stick with Sagan - he's got to come good at some point, right?
