He also looks like a praying mantis more than anyone else in the race
Froome continues to be one of the best "sprinters" in the race!
Didn't know about the falls to be honest, as Ive been working alot. I actually already had Degenkolb, Martens and Mondory, as well as Reynes, and ive added 3 others to that, but not Matthews.
I shouldn't try to take the piss, you are winning after all, and doing an awful lot better than me!
6 sprinters for tomorrow, big pain for stages 9 and 10.
Not that I want to worry you at all.
High probability of crosswinds too.
Mondory, Martens...
Degenkolb has had a fall.
Have you gone for Matthews too?
had to take my first penalty transfer today, fingers crossed it works out fine. nearly reached the dizzy heights of the forum scorum top 10 ! wonders never cease
Full sprint team? Er...
Have I misread something somewhere, will tomorrow not be a sprint
Im a man with a plan, got a full sprint team for tommorrow, and 3 transfers for stage 9, will make 3 for stage 10, 3 for 11 and then 2 sprinters for 12.
Anyway, changes made for tomorrow. 3 sprinters, transfers in hand still for 9.
Plans made for stages 9,10,11 and if all goes to plan I will have a good team for each stage and 2 transfers to carry over for 12 onwards.
I was looking at GC. Lucky baskets who had Degenkolb today.
That is the oddest thing. I just looked at PCS and he wasn't last. Now he is.
Good job I used the official site
How did Degenkolb get 15 points today?
5 for leading the points comp. & 10 for last man to finish
Too right. Although today was once of those days when my risk worked out
This Vuelta is truely entertaining: I have high hopes every morning, only to find them smashed in the afternoon. Yet somehow, the next morning, the cycle recommences...
4,7,10,12,14,18 plus Schopp's mountain points and Mas KoM and 2,4,5,6 on GC points today.
Will probably be better than many today.
Yay! 3,6,4,5 for Tschopp so far.
Hofland working for GCers today. Degenkolb and Froome have been down, and the first abandons of the tour have happened.
Results in Alcala La Real :
1. Johann TSCHOPP (129)
2. Alessandro DE MARCHI (66)
3. Ryder HESJEDAL (101)
The breakaway is now in the feeding zone (km 80), with a lead up to 6'15.
No changes for me today, not gone with the sprinters which will probably haunt me.
On the plus side I would have had to take out Tschopp to put a sprinter in...
Results at the top of the Alto de Illora (3rd category) :
1. Johann TSCHOPP (129)
2. Ryder HESJEDAL (101)
3. Hubert DUPONT (11)
Breakaway has 4:58.
Break down to four. Dammit, I went for Hansen but if he'd have been 0.5 more expensive I would've had Tschopp. At least he's in my purists...
Expecting the break to stick today, hope I'm right...
