Did Avila not get the lantern rouge?????
FDJ confirm Bouhanni left race
What did say about Mezgec! Bouhanni has gone? booted out or what?
I was Gavazzi away from 2 full houses on the same day
In real trouble over a minute back as peleton speed increases.
Perhaps he should start taking his vitamins
He thought Bouhanni was not a incorrect liver... God bless google translate.
I'm hoping it's a mistake and it should have gone to Avila for coming last.
Now 2 mins back, will lose more time today.
Thanks for your very insightful reply.....I've known he was ill since Sunday
I meant, did he come off, have a mechanical, lost time downhill again......
Something must have happened before he lost 3 minutes. He's been ill all week and this was a fairly easy, shortest stage.
Italian's use liver as a metaphor for bravery. He is saying that Bouhanni did nothing wrong he was just brave enough to go
Sean Kelly is questioning whether the organisers mean 3k from end or 3k from when they cross finish line for the first time because the circuit around Treviso will be very tricky in the rain. In which case it will be 10.5k from the end.
Colbrelli has pulled off the peleton to try to bridge the gap
He didn't make it
M1
1 Marcato
2 Belkov
3 Felline
I think that puts Belkov into 5th in mountain class.
Eurosport have just said that there is snow on top of the Galibier and it is still snowing, which is stage 15 on Sunday
That makes sense. What happened with the crash, hopefully no one hurt.
Four of the five went down. Peleton now going very slow. Rain bad. De Backer seems to have disappeared from the front group
All five are there
So for instance, if Wiggins was leading out the peloton at the 3k marker he would get the 20 secs bonus and after that its only the sprint points they are going for ???
I think the time bonuses will still be taken at the line, but none of the GC riders would have been likely to get them today anyway. It's the times for the overall which will be taken at the 3km mark.
More info :-
@WWCCScorer
@daniellloyd1 Will the time bonuses still be awarded at the finish line?
@daniellloyd1
@WWCCScorer I think so yes, but will be of no consequence anyway as sprinters will take them all.
Breakaway just crashed
GC times will be taken at the 3km to go point to avoid risks at the finish line. Sprint will be for the stage only.
S1
1 Belkov
2 De Backer
3 Lammertink
4 Felline
5 Marcato
which puts Belkov up to 6th in points class.
Apparently stage start was delayed a little because of a broken down bus. Expect the stage to finish about 15 minutes later than expected.
The leading four have a gap 0f 1.20 with Marcato just behind them.
The race has now been let go and Felline, Belkov, De Backer and Lammertink have jumped off the front
The early kilometres appear to be neutralised because of the heavy rain
