What on earth for? I mean - nothing's changed about his actions so why should we treat him differently now? Telling lies - check. One rule for me, one rule for the rest? Check. Illegal activity? Check. (OK not actually fined / convicted but this isn't the first police investigation and if you think people are inciting on road.cc surely this conversation would trigger you [more here and here]).
Don't worry I won't make it a habit, but that one was too crazy not to share
That can't be right - those don't sound like the actions of a law abiding Prime Minister
Oh - I wasn't complaining - merely suggesting that it's done more than enough to deserve a leading role of its own - I make that seven of them just in the last week's worth of comments here (albeit a couple of those have the twofer of also involving a building).
Buller Buller Buller.
Lads are lads. Back in the day. So that's OK then.
From here - documentary here.
Why in power? See comments on the documentary e.g. "Boris comes across as an extremely likeable chap, he shows great optimism and has a great sense of humour." and (maybe tongue in cheek) "It’s unique and fantastic how Boris manages to deflect and laugh at something that would probably end most politicians careers!"
driver charged with 16 offences, including assaulting a police officer, gets a suspended sentence https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/23209063.lee-nicholls-stole-ferrari-c...
Thinking Skills eh.
Would that be how to commit more offences but not go to jail?
More flipping cars in Suffolk.
Car crashes into tree and flips over in West Suffolk village

I'll see your one flipped car...
Two people taken to hospital after cars flip onto roofs in crash in Ipswich 30mph zone
"It is not known what happened to cause the cars to flip onto their roofs in such a low-speed area."

Strange place that Ipswich
Not that much really, it just has more than its fair share of drivers who are complete tools
Give that journo a prize! So dry I'm reaching for a lemon to rehydrate.
Clearly local distortions in the fabric of spacetime...
The Post reckoned they finally got it out at about 10pm last night. So it was stuck there for about fifteen hours. Does the driver get overtime?
Dunno but I hope they paid extra for taking up 3 spaces !
That Wilf Johnson in the comments seems like some of the tosser trolls on here. Got very defensive when blaming *insert german manufacturer* here.
I hope so. He can't just abandon it, so he had to hang around until it was freed. He features in a couple of the photos and seems quite calm.
New footage emerges of Tesco lorry that was stuck for 15 hours being rescued

And my favourite quote:
which surely translates as "I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but thought I'd try anyway cos I'm a professional driver, innit"...
You have to wonder, watching the video, what idiot thought it was a good idea to take an articulated HGV down those streets...
I'm searching through the "rules" I have in my own mind for this thread and am flummoxed by this posting. Car crashes into...nothing at all, an empty beach, yet the idiot has still managed to overturn the wankpanzer.
He shouldn't drive there (on the footpath) either. The manoeuvre may have been misjudged, but the choice to drive on the pavement was entirely deliberate and unforced. Back to driving school.
Maybe it hit a sandcastle?
Going too fast and turning too sharply.
4x4s aren't always that stable, high centre of gravity.
And that looks like quite a narrow one...
Fell off the pier and washed ashore?
The article said lots of trucks are being driven through Montpelier to try and bypass the temporary traffic lights and road closure at the junction of Cheltenham Road and Ashley Road. So we can probably blame the driver's satnav... (and the driver for not having an ounce of common sense - "Well, the computer said I could go this way").

Twitter thread has someone arguing that the lorry was 4.1m high but the ground was uneven so that's why it hit a 4.2m bridge.
Note the sign just above the rear of the lorry !
