No damage to the railings.
Almost - no sale
I don't understand?
‘These streets were built for horse and cart – not HGVs’: Johnshaven resident’s house hit SIX times in a year by trucks
And there was me having a nice fly-through of the place on Google Street, it looks very nice and peaceful.

We need the full article to know for sure.

"The shop did not appear to have been damaged."
Crime-busting Nissans, opening the way for the police to nab the bad guys.

The car thought to have hit the house in Cranbrook Street this morning
wow, what was your first clue?
I see the problem now, car was travelling quickly on this straight road, but saw the cafe sign too late to slow down and pull in to the car park.
It must have been poor visibility due to the overhanging trees shown on Streetview
Yes, I wasn't expecting the car on it's roof when I read the headline. Maybe it's not uncommon in the area
The scene of the crime - does the car park next to the pub (l) have anything to do with it? Otherwise, seems to be a bit precision reversing through the gap in the railing.
My guess is that the offending cars are DFLs - especially given that the pictures are on a nice, sunny summery day.
Driver had the munchies and was guided by the raised chevron we see in the picture.
I see it fine, but I'm in the US. Not much more in the article than in the preview.
COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — A senior citizen crashed their car into a commercial building Tuesday morning in Baltimore County.
SkyTeam 11 reported the car crashed into a building around 10 a.m. at MVS Wound Care & Hyperbarics in the 10500 block of York Road in Cockeysville.
The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
County police said no one inside the building was struck or hurt.
"Upon arrival we found a woman who was the driver of the vehicle. She was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. She received self care advice and was discharged at the scene."
Was the "self care advice" to turn in her driving licence?
I can't get past the paywall. How does it become relevant to the story that he's a triathlete? If I did the same thing, what would the headline be?
Jail for cyclist who chomped off stranger's ear in Dundee pub
Jail for judoka who chomped off stranger's ear in Dundee pub
Jail for father of two who chomped off stranger's ear in Dundee pub
Jail for beer nerd who chomped off stranger's ear in Dundee pub
Jail for incredibly fit and handsome man who chomped off stranger's ear in Dundee pub
What is on the other side of that wall? A giant trampoline??
They has managed to get all the way in there.
Chip fat "Cheap as chips", compared to unleaded.
BREAKING: Cyclist 'responsible' for school crash shambles
It was a special delivery operation.
.
EVERY day is a slow news day here in (North Wales) Dail Post land!!
.
In short, it doesn't.
The long verson is the perpetrator was an alcoholic who was (reportedly) planning on taking part in a charity triathlon to raise funds for the rehab centre he had been going to, although he had relapsed prior to the attack. So the triathlon aspect has no direct relevance, but is loosely related to his alcoholism, which itself was no doubt related to the attack. A pretty tenuous connection given the man is characterised as a "triathlete" in the headline - "alcoholic" would seem to be a more pertinent description but would presumably have generated fewer clicks...
(If you google the story then use google's cached version you can bypass the pay wall - try https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:xnPO9RUQ1SUJ:https...).
Jail for starving man with strong stomach who chomped off stranger's ear in Dundee pub
My money would be on "Jail for cyclist...", especially if it was "keen cyclist".
Can't decide headline-wise if it's the cycling element of triathlon, or the idea of an 'althlete': the latter would put "judo enthusiast" as front runner in your case.
Found guilty and given 34 months jail - a whole lot more than drivers get for deadly road violence.

Driver arrested in Northfleet after BMW crashes into Ye Olde Coach and Horses pub
....taken into custody on suspicion of four offences – failing to stop following a road traffic collision, driving whilst being unfit through drink and drugs and driving without insurance.
"no sale" as regards hitting an actual building - but, you know, "cyclists should be made to have insurance", etc

Police later confirmed that around 150 vehicles attended.
Locals say they had to put up with the sound of revving engines and honking horns, plus a “haze of smoke” drifting over the neighbourhood.
Finally, one of three fly tipping pictures from today's walk - this is a byway, and the amount of general crap lying around is always greater where so-called off-roaders are allowed.
number plate pixeled out, but we see the Audi badge.
