Mentioned that in the blog.
Disappointing that radio 4 listeners are such traffic offenders !
Disappointing but maybe not surprising?
Love the idea of traffic snooker tho'.
I'm never buying a pink car (or bike)
You're OK with brown then?
My first car was a s**t brown mini.
My dad's best mate used to be a senior civil servant in the Department of Transport. He told me that they did some research (in either the 70s or early 80s) on which colour of car was safest. The conclusion, as I understand it, was that it depended on conditions, so no one colour was best. However, the clear conclusion was that brown was the worst colour. I've never been able to stand up the veracity of this, so I don't know if it was true or he was just winding me up.
I assume you mean the studio audience. I'm pretty sure many of them will have changed their mind as a result of attending and hopefully many listeners will have as well. Brilliant programme.
