Aftershokz schwag grab: we have winners!

Clever bone conducting tech means you can listen to music without drowning out your environment

Oops. As is often the case we've left this one to run a bit over. But never mind, we've remembered now and so it's time to fire up the random-o-tron and see what it spits out. 'Scuse us while we translate this punched paper binary into some meaningful phrases.

Aha! it says Paul J, usedtobefaster, poppa, davecochrane and ShakyBakey are our winners! Well done you chaps! we'll be in touch.

Sorry if you missed out, but there's more comps on the way. Stay tuned.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Tuesday folks! today it's sunny (here) and we're feeling generous, so who wants a pair of Aftershokz Bluez 2 Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones forth £89.95? We have five to give away!

The old heaphones-while-cycling chestnut is one that'll run and run, but the great thing about the Aftershokz ones is that they don't block your ears at all. Instead they use bone conduction technology to send soundwaves into your ear through your cheekbones, leaving your ears free to hear ranting white van men and revving Vauxhall Novas. Bliss.

We've tested them and our guinea pig Elliot really rated them, calling them a "Sleek and comfortable answer to the cycling-with-headphones debate". And you could get your fitlhy paws on a pair, for free. All you have to do is comment below, and you're in the hat. Come tiffin-time on Friday we'll pick five lucky winners. Usual schwag grab rules apply. Good luck!

Dave is a founding father of road.cc, having previously worked on Cycling Plus and What Mountain Bike magazines back in the day. He also writes about e-bikes for our sister publication ebiketips. He's won three mountain bike bog snorkelling World Championships, and races at the back of the third cats.

I'd wear them but never on my bike that's just asking to get knocked off.

Cracking kit. I need this to replace my original Aftershokz that my son has "acquired".
They are great, never felt disconnected from the environment whilst cycling.

Brillliant idea. Always avoided headphones because I want to hear what's going on around me but these would be great. 16

I've never listened to music whilst cycling (unless you count singing at the top of my voice) but this sounds like a safer alternative to regular earphones & I'd be willing to give them a try!xx

I have the world's ugliest ears. Please let me overcome this shame and grace these ugly flappers with a beautiful set of Aftershokz ear buds....thanks.

I've heard a lot of great things about these, would be amazing to get my hands on a set

Wow, unusual 'phones. Seems counter intuitive but I assume that, at £90 a set, they do work.
