Quad Lock Schwag Grab: we have winners!

Three Quad Lock phone mounting systems up for grabs

We gave you the chance to win one of the natty Quad Lock smartphone mounts last week, and now it's time to annouce the three winners in our Quad Lock competition. Okay, we said we'd do it yesterday but it was Tony's birthday and we got distracted with the cake.

So the three winners out of the hat are... backflipbedlemVin Cox and justDave. Congratulations! We'll be in touch to arrange your prizes. Thanks to everyone who took part.

Remember, stay tuned for more competitions on the way soon.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cyclists are increasingly using smartphones for navigating and recording rides, and the Quad Lock is a lightweight, strong and secure mounting system compatible with a wide range of phones, including the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4.

Madison (who also look after brands like Shimano, GoPro, Park Tool) have just landed the exclusive distribution rights for Quad Lock in the UK and ROI, and to celebrate are giving three lucky road.cc readers the chance to win a Quad Lock iPhone 5, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S4.

The Quad Lock is really easy to use. You get a case to pop your phone in, the mount attaches to the stem or handlebars, and the case simply twists and locks into place. The slim case also acts as a protective case for your phone so you can leave it on when you’re off the bike. You can read Dave’s indepth review to find out more about using the Quad Lock here.

To recap, we’ve got three mounts to give away, the three lucky winners can choose from an iPhone 5, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S4. These kits are worth between £25 and £45. Just tell us in the comments box if you use a phone when you’re cycling for tracking your activity or navigating routes, and we’ll stick your hat in the draw.

You’ve got until 5.30pm on Monday 15th December. Usual  schwag grab rules apply

David worked on the road.cc tech team from 2012-2020. Previously he was editor of Bikemagic.com and before that staff writer at RCUK. He's a seasoned cyclist of all disciplines, from road to mountain biking, touring to cyclo-cross, he only wishes he had time to ride them all. He's mildly competitive, though he'll never admit it, and is a frequent road racer but is too lazy to do really well. He currently resides in the Cotswolds, and you can now find him over on his own YouTube channel David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes

Ooooo.

I'd like one for my iPhone5S please.

Then I wouldn't have to strap it onto the stem with velcro.

I use my S5 for navigation when I'm on a long ride and tracking via Garmin FIT when commuting. I'd like a quadlock.

I would really like to use my iPhone 6 when I'm riding, so a Quad Lock would be great! I wouldn't really dare to use anything else to mount my phone on the bike, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Using a Galaxy S4 for Strava, RidewithGPS and MapMyRide....can't have too many apps...can you?
A nice mount would be a cheery, festive gift!
Not too sure about you "sticking my HAT in the draw"...I've grown rather fond of my hat....

It would be good to see where I'm going wrong before I do an extra 5 miles in the wrong direction! My iPhone would love its new home! Thanks....

I use my iPhone 5s with Strava, and I've found that if I turn off Cellular Data then I can track the ride and keep the battery running for long enough to have an emergency line as well.

I'd love a Quad, as I've read they are the best, and I currently keep my phone in my sweaty jersey.

Stick me in the hat for an iPhone6 one. I use my phone when I'm on unfamiliar roads on long rides just for making sure I'm going in the right direction, or when my Garmin's crapped out and stopped showing me the breadcrumb trail.
