The Farnham Cycle Challenge
New for 2014, the Farnham Cycle Challenge will be a fund raising bike ride for local charity Challengers, who are dedicated to providing play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people.
100% of income generated from the event, will go to Challengers.
Starting and finishing from Farnham Park (GU9 0AU).
There will be 2 open road bike rides on the quiet, undulating country lanes of Surrey and Hampshire. There will also be an accompanied ride around Farnham Park for the younger or less intrepid participants!
The two routes on the open road ride will be approximately 45 miles and 23 miles respectively.
Both routes will be fully supported by bike mechanics, marshalled feed-stations and patrolling first aid crews.
The ride in the park will be be approximately 1.5 miles and on mixed surface of grass and tarmac. The challenge: to do as many laps in an hour!
