Sponsored by digital agency Crafted, the Crafted Classique sportive will return to the historic Ipswich waterfront on Saturday 22 August with more great coffee, delicious food and refreshing local beer. New for 2015, the event will also feature a shorter 55km route designed especially for those entering the sportive scene, as well as faster registration, a rolling start and subtle revisions to last year’s popular 100km and 100mile courses through the stunning Suffolk countryside.
Building on the success of 2014’s inaugural event, which saw 500 riders take part from across the UK, the Crafted Classique blends beautiful countryside with quality local produce, an exciting route and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Starting from the historic Ipswich waterfront, with its unique maritime architecture, cafes, restaurants and bars, you can prepare for the ride with a complimentary coffee before setting off for this timed event. Afterwards, you can enjoy delicious refreshments and savour a cooling locally sourced beer.
The routes begin at the stunning Neptune Marina on the Ipswich docks and roll out across the Suffolk countryside through idyllic towns and villages, with the 100mile course stretching to Aldeburgh on the Heritage Coast, before returning to the welcoming pubs, shops and cafes of the Ipswich waterfront.
EARLY BIRD ENTRY: Those who register online before 12th April 2015 will receive a £5 discount on the standard entry price of £25.
