Day 2 - Porlock to Bude - 74 miles 6884 feet of climbing.
The Wrong Way Back follows a 550 mile route starting in Wincanton, Somerset (UK) and heads north to Porlock where the route then heads down the north coast to Lands End. The route then heads back from Lands End along the south coast to Weymouth, Dorset (UK). The final day the route takes riders up to Portland Bill before heading back inland to Wincanton.
The 550 mile route is ridden over 8 days and riders will climb a few hills along the beautiful but brutal South West UK's Coastline.
TWWB is a physically and mentally tough challenge, however riders who have taken part in the last 3 events has come back for more.
Please note this is a multi day event and you can only sign up for the full 8 days.
Councils don't seem terrible keen ... maybe eburtthebike can give us the insider view in why not?...
Maybe, and its just a thought, a huge multinational oil company might have the resources to provide safety kit like that. Anyone know of one?
