Granny's Cotswolds Telegram 100mile
Start & Finish: Frenchay, Bristol | Entry: £6.50
Remember your granny, you are going to need it! An outing into the Cotswolds; big hills, little hills and more hills with chocolate box villages interspersed.
An end of season Imperial Century Grimpeur showcasing the Cotswolds. Starting from Gary Harris Cycles north of Bristol you'll make a beeline to Wootton-under-Edge where the fun begins! Dropping down into old mill towns and climbing back out again you make your way north to Cheltenham. Turn and climb up again into the Cotswolds to Northleach; here a BBQ awaits in aid of the local swimming club. Then cruise (well almost) through picturesque countryside and villages before entering the valleys and mill towns again for a visit to Dursley Heritage Centre. Hold onto your hats and engage low gear for the final steep one before a quick return.
Self-driving cars are far from perfect now and might never be perfect, but there would seem to come a point where there should be a public...

Not unless theVED is made eye wateringly expensive....
Hyponatremia is a real risk even for an amateur cyclist or runner in hot weather. I've bonked from it before, and I was drinking Gatorade the whole...
in the UK we have policing which to a greater or lesser extent relies on assistance from members of the public......
Just wanted to share a quick thank you to everyone who helped out in this thread....
So...don't cycle on it. Lots of other routes around that area. Source: I used to work there.
My photochromic specs have just turned up in the post today
