The Bronte Sportive is a well established and challenging sportive in Bronte Country, West Yorkshire. This year our courses have been altered to encompass as much of the route taken by the Tour de France Grand Depart Yorkshire as possible.
The longest three routes cover 30 miles of stage 2 Tour, including the stunning sections through Haworth, Bronte Country and Penistone Hill; they also include England's longest constant incline of 6.42 miles up Cragg Vale. There are four routes that can be taken ranging from 23 miles to the 88 mile Bronte Monster.
All routes start and finish at Leeds City College in Keighley which has excellent transport links. The Bronte Sportive is organised by national healthcare charity Sue Ryder, your entry fee and any sponsorship money that you raise for us will help support your local Sue Ryder care centre. There is no obligation to raise sponsorship, but we are very grateful to those who do.
