Aftershokz schwag grab: we have winners!

Clever bone conducting tech means you can listen to music without drowning out your environment

Oops. As is often the case we've left this one to run a bit over. But never mind, we've remembered now and so it's time to fire up the random-o-tron and see what it spits out. 'Scuse us while we translate this punched paper binary into some meaningful phrases.

Aha! it says Paul J, usedtobefaster, poppa, davecochrane and ShakyBakey are our winners! Well done you chaps! we'll be in touch.

Sorry if you missed out, but there's more comps on the way. Stay tuned.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Tuesday folks! today it's sunny (here) and we're feeling generous, so who wants a pair of Aftershokz Bluez 2 Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones forth £89.95? We have five to give away!

The old heaphones-while-cycling chestnut is one that'll run and run, but the great thing about the Aftershokz ones is that they don't block your ears at all. Instead they use bone conduction technology to send soundwaves into your ear through your cheekbones, leaving your ears free to hear ranting white van men and revving Vauxhall Novas. Bliss.

We've tested them and our guinea pig Elliot really rated them, calling them a "Sleek and comfortable answer to the cycling-with-headphones debate". And you could get your fitlhy paws on a pair, for free. All you have to do is comment below, and you're in the hat. Come tiffin-time on Friday we'll pick five lucky winners. Usual schwag grab rules apply. Good luck!

Dave is a founding father of road.cc, having previously worked on Cycling Plus and What Mountain Bike magazines back in the day. He also writes about e-bikes for our sister publication ebiketips. He's won three mountain bike bog snorkelling World Championships, and races at the back of the third cats.

it's either these, or an 80s boombox strapped to the handlebars... don't make me do it.

Yes please. Count me in. I don't want to miss any life affirming messages from Mr Whitevan or 'plantpot' exhaust tones of Vauxhall Novas! ;0)

Yes please, these'd save me from going out and actually buying a pair, I was just about to take the plunge based on reviews of them.

I like using music to keep a steady pace when I'm cycling, also to lift my spirits if I'm tiring. Also to keep me company when I'm on my own. So these would be great for me. Thanks!
