www.flickr.com/You visit the road.cc website, you’ve signed up to the Facebook group and you’re following us on Twitter. Now, there’s another way to keep up with road.cc, through our page on the photo-sharing website, Flickr.
We’ve been working away behind the scenes here to post more than 1,000 photos to our Flickr page already, spanning pictures of bikes we’ve reviewed, trade shows and other events we’ve visited, as well as social rides such as the post-Christmas Road.cc Turkey Sweater.
Each of these are grouped into sets, meaning that if there’s a particular bike you’d like to have a closer look at, all you need to do is click on the set, then click on the slideshow icon to the right of the first photo and sit back and enjoy. As time goes by, we’ll be adding lots of new pictures as well as uploading new ones, so be sure to check back regularly to see what’s new.
We want our readers to play their part, too, so as well as looking forward to reading your comments on any of the pictures on our photosteram, we’ve also set up a road.cc group for you to show the rest of us what you’re riding, or any bike-related projects that you’re working on, which you’ll find here.
If you don’t already have a Flickr account, you can get one for free by going here, and if you’re going to be using it fairly heavily there is the option to upgrade to a Pro account which gives you more storage and unlimited uploads for $24.95 a year – that’s about £15 a year at current exchange rates.
Besides that, we’re also busy scouring Flickr for the best bike photos we can find from around the world, and you can have a look at some of the favourite pictures we have found so far here – check back regularly here to see what’s new.
