We've given up tiffin for lent here at road.cc, either that or we can't be bothered to go to the Co-op. So it's with slightly shaky hands that we've fired up the random-o-tron to pick a winner from the nigh-on 500 of you that have put your names in the hat...
clunk...
whirr...
and this week it's you, douglasm! You walk away with a bunch of lockgear and a natty bag, and the choice of an urban helmet or a roadie one...
click...
ping!
and the other helmet goes to you, gembo!
thanks for entering, look out for another schwagger on Monday. we can't guarantee it'll be quite as weighty as this one, but free stuff is free stuff, eh?

While we we looking at the shiny new things at the Zyro open house last month we were lucky enough to come away with a big bag full of Abus gear to test. In fact we were lucky twice over, since there were two of us there! Anyway, it's time to share some of that luck with one lucky reader... Well, two actually.
First up is a Bordo Granit X-Plus folding lock (RRP £100). Offering the same level of security as Abus' excellent Granit X Plus U-lock it's a much easier beast to fit and swap between bikes, so it's great for town runs.
Next up is a Granit CityChain X-Plus 1060 (RRP £120), which we tested on road.cc last year and didn't even get close to breaking. It's key matched with the Bordo lock, too, so one key does them both!
To go with those two we've also got a Tresor combination chain (RRP £30) in a fetching blue – not as secure as the other two heavyweights, but ideal for nipping to the shops.
You'll need something to put all that gear in, so how about a Dryve messenger bag (RRP £100), Abus' new waterproof city bag. Made from tough waterproof Cordura with sealed zips, it's just the ticket for the daily slog in the spring rain.
That's your bike taken care of, security-wise. For your head we'll throw in either the Urban-I helmet (RRP £50) pictured, or if you prefer you can have Abus' road lid, the S-Force Road, (RRP £50) in white. Whichever one you don't want we'll give to the second name out of the hat. The helmets are both large, so if they don't fit you'll just have to share the love with a small-noggined friend.
What do you have to do? just comment below and you're in the hat. We'll make the draw on Friday 19 Feb at Tiffin time, usual schwag grab rules apply. Good luck!

Is the messanger bag suitable for us lefties? (as in left handed not politic types), most bags have the strap adjustment positioned so you cant wear it over the other shoulder.
Give it all to me and ill do another test for you (for the other 10% of us who are lefties) ;0)
