Great cycling deals from Orbea, Altura and Izone

Three excellent cycling deals if you're looking for waterproofs, lights, and bikes - all courtesy of the DealCatcher...

Waterproofs, lights, and bikes, they're the three most important ingredients to commuting with ease and comfort this autumn. The DealCatcher has all three for you today.

The three discount happy retailers who are sending their bargains your way this week are Cycle Surgery, Hargroves, and Wheelies.

The bike in today's DealCatcher comes to you from Cycle Surgery. The Surrey-based retailer have amputated 38% of the original price of the Orbea Avant M30SE 2015 road bike.

Just after that Hargroves will be keeping you dry through those autumnal showers with a massive 50% off the Altura pocket rocket - which got a stonkingly good review from us a few months ago.

And finally, Wheelies have halved the price of their Izone ARC 600 rechargeable lights.

Cycle Surgery

38% off Orbea Avant M30SE 2015 road bike
WAS £1599.00 | NOW £999.00

An Orbea lifetime warranty, full carbon body, full carbon fork, Shimano 105 chainset, and a Vision 25 all for under £1000? We're not ones to question cycle surgeons on the make-up and valuation of their bikes.

The Orbea Avant is great value for money, and a great opportunity to take the step up to sull carbon without breaking the bank.

Hargroves

50% off Altura Pocket Rocket Waterproof Jacket
WAS £69.99 | NOW £34.99

This cheeky number from Altura scored an incredible 9/10 in its road.cc review - and that was at its full price.

In amongst the reviews highlights were the jacket's incredibly light weight, sensible reflector patches, and of course, its exceptional ability to keep you dry.

Had the Pocket Rocket been reviewed at a ridiculous price like this, who knows what score it would have received. Does the scale go up to 11?

Wheelies

50% off Izone ARC 600 Rechargeable Front Light
WAS £79.99 | NOW £39.99

Finally, the Izone ARC will keep you seen and keep you seeing as those nights draw in.

The light itself is waterproof, highly visible from all angles, USB rechargeable, and pumps out 600 lumens for 2 hours straight at its highest setting. These lights are exclusive to Wheelies, so you won't be finding these babies cheaper anywhere else.

Am I the only person that thinks Cat Eye are a bit shit?

They always seem to just give up the ghost and hate getting wet.

Or have I just been unlucky?

Agreed. I've found that the plastic wears out, so they rattle in the brackets and eventually fall off. Switched to Lezyne instead but my first one gave up the ghost after a couple of years ...
