The Ride Journal issue 10 out this Friday + Launch party at Look Mum No Hands this Friday

10 and out as Ride Journal team announce "indefinite break from the format"...

We know that a lot of road.cc readers love The Ride Journal, so here’s some great news – issue 10 comes out on Friday, with a launch party at Look Mum No Hands on London’s Old Street.

If you get along to the event, details of which are on the flier below, you can be one of the first to get your hands on the issue, which will be the last for a while as the team behind the magazine take a well-deserved breather – well, in their words, “indefinite break.”

We hope they won’t be away too long.

You can also pre-order issue 10, which costs £10.50 to UK addresses and £14.50 to the rest of the world, through The Ride Journal’s website. Get your order in no later than Friday, and your copy go out in the first batch on Monday.

Details of local stockists are on the website, where you can also  download past issues, and the gallery above gives some sample pages for a taster of what’s in store in the latest issue.

Another good reason to be up in London this Friday, along with the TfL die-in and critical mass.

Hello Gizmo.

The retail cost wasn't a problem. The cover price is  £8.

It's £10.50 including postage to the UK.

Or £14.50 internationally.

Rouleur I believe is £10 and the cycling another £8.99. Before posting.

The decision to stop is based more on us fitting the journal in between day jobs, family life and trying to get some riding in as well.

We've loved making the journal and hope people have enjoyed reading it.

If anything I might wonder whether the price point (more than an issue of Rouleur, and more than a edition of the Cycling Anthology books) was a problem.

It's a shame that they're stopping however.  I've read a couple and they're very good, beautifully produced and written, and I wish them well.
