Cube, Easton, Look, Giro & more cycling deals in the Chain Reaction Cycles DealCatcher Takeover

The DealCatcher's been scouring the retailer's January cycling deals for offers on Cube bikes, Easton wheels, Giro shoes, Lezyne lights & more...

The Chain Reaction Cycles January sale is rumbling on, and each week more great offers - from 2016 model road bikes to great cold-weather cycling gear - are sneaking out of the woodwork.

Today the DealCatcher has rounded up ten more of these great deals for you, including Cube's excellent 2016 Attain GTC Pro Disc Road Bike, De Marchi's bargain Stripe jersey, and a pair of DMT Libra Carbon Speedplay Road Shoes.

The prices are low, and in places the stock is too, so there's no time to lose!

30% off Cube's 2016 Attain GTC Pro Disc
WAS £1499.00 | NOW £1049.99

Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc Road Bike.png

2016's redesign of Cube's Agree and launch of the Attain GTC Disc saw the German brand bring the rest of its line up to the standard of its excellent Litening models.

The Attain's introduction brought a quality to Cube's aluminium all-rounder road bike offering. Not only does it looks the part, the specs speak for themselves.

While the 9kg weight may seem a touch heavy for a bike that retails for around £1500 at full price and claims to be speedy, it compensates in all the right places.

The frame is stiff enough to carry all the speed you need into Shimano's exceptional 105 groupset, while also offering enough give to be comfortable.

The Fulcrum wheelset may seem a touch heavy as well, but they do a great job and offer you flexibility to use the bike as a weekend trawler or a commuter if you please.

50% off Easton's EC90 aero 55 Road Clincher Wheelset
WAS £2299.99 | NOW £1149.99

Easton EC90 Aero 55 Road Clincher Wheels.png

Easton called the EC90 Aeros the fastest wheelset it offers when they launched. That performance was allegedly down to the 28mm Fantom rim which provides a boundary layer as air passes the tyre; aerodynamism 101, eh?

Easton says these wheels offer exceptional speed for those of you looking to give yourselves a bit extra on race day.

60% off Look's Keo Classic 2 Road Pedals
WAS £64.99 | NOW £25.99

LOOK Keo Classic 2 Road Pedals.png

Look says that the Classic 2 pedals they offer are "lightweight, durable, entry-level road pedals."

The Classic 2s certainly tick all of those boxes, and our reviewer George Hill has been using them for years.

He recently had a play with the Classic 3s and was impressed enough to give those an 8/10. He raves about the quality of Look pedals in general, and given his history with the Classic 2s, we'd say they're a very safe bet if you're looking to up your pedal game without breaking the bank.

81% off Selle Royal's Seta Ladies Saddle
WAS £39.99 | NOW £7.49

Selle Royal Seta Ladies Saddle.png

Selle Royal's Setal ladies saddle offers a firm performance saddle specifically designed for women.

The width of the Seta saddle is one of its selling points. Many women struggle to find saddles wide enough, but according to one CRC reviewer, the width is perfect, even for MTB adventure rides.

Our reviewer Lara Dunn took the Sport version for a test and reported back that it was too firm for her, though she said the look and price were incredible - and that's without the 81% discount.

65% off Vittoria's Diamante Pro Road Bike Tyre
WAS £36.99 | NOW £12.99

Vittoria Diamante Pro Road Bike Tyre.png

Our man VecchioJo took the Tech II version of the Diamante Pro tyres from Vittoria for a test ride a while back, and said they were fast and grippy, though somewhat puncture-prone for a winter-focussed tyre.

The Diamante Pros don't come with a 'winter' green light, and Vittoria suggest that you ride them on 'known-good' roads - which we assume means don't head down through pot-holed forest roads dotted with overhanging thorn bushes.

Either way, if Jo's opinion of the Diamante's performance credentials carry, these are an excellent pair of tyres, especially for the price.

55% off De Marchi's Stripe LS Jersey
WAS £99.99 | NOW £44.99

De Marchi Stripe LS Jersey.png

Now, away from all the bike bits and on to some clothing.

De Marchi's stripe jersey offers long-sleeve protection from the elements and a rather attractive look for a somewhat appealing price tag.

We've not reviewed this specific model, but we've had a few pieces of De Marchi kit in for review over the years. Generally speaking, we've liked what we've seen.

31% off Bellwether's Draft Long Sleeve Jersey
WAS £57.99 | NOW £39.99

Bellweather Draft Long Sleeve Jersey.png

Here's a new one. We've not seen any Bellwether gear on the site before, so sadly we can't speak with a great deal of authority on the quality of the company's offerings.

This good looking hi-viz (optional) jersey is made of a mid-weight fabric which should do a good job of keeping you comfortably warm while not drowning you in a sweaty, clammy, mess if you get a bit hot and bothered.

Comfortable flat stitching, elastic hems, and silicone applications will keep the jersey in place and comfortable.

50% off Giro's Factor ACC Road Shoes
WAS £249.99 | NOW £124.99

Giro Factor ACC Road Shoes.png

When our tech editor Dave Arthur dishes out a 9/10 in review it's probably time to sit up and listen.

The Giro Factor ACC road shoes did exactly that back in 2015, and for good reason.

Mr Arthur called the shoes "impressively stiff and light," while also heralding the adjustable sole inserts that come with the shoe.

You can read his full review below, but if you fancy a footwear upgrade, don't hang about. At 50% off we don't imagine they'll be around for long.

60% off DMT's Libra Carbon Speedplay Road Shoes
WAS £144.99 | NOW £57.99

DMT Libra Carbon Speedplay Road Shoes.jpg

Unlike the Giro shoes above, we haven't reviewed these DMT Libras. We have, however had a play with the brand's more expensive Prisma 2.0 models, which we liked a lot.

These Libra shoes though blend high performance and complete comfort, according to DMT.

Three velcro straps keep everything secure, the breathable microfibre mesh upper will keep your feet cool, and a dual-layered interchangeable sole allows you to personalise your performance, keeping your power transfer at its peak.

55% off Lezyne's KTV Drive Pro Front Light
WAS £19.99 | NOW £8.99

Lezyne KTV Drive Pro Front.png

Finally, Lezyne's KTV Drive Pro Front light, which scored a very solid 7/10 on review here is currently experiencing a discount of over 50% at Chain Reaction.

Our reviewer Shaun Audane called it "nicely designed," which we can't argue with. And with Lezyne's history of top quality lighting, you can be sure it'll last and last and last.

I have a pair of those Easton Aero wheels and they are great.  Even the fitting of tubeless tyres was not too bad and no punctures!  have all the sealant from my mtn bikes so easy to do another set of wheels.
