A Town Called Paris - Wiggo fan sends good luck message with Jam cover played on ukelele (+ video)

Team Sky man advised to "stop apologising for that broken collarbone" ...

Bradley Wiggins, as you may have noticed, is a bit of a fan of The Jam. With the Team Sky rider still in the maillot jaune as the Tour de France heads towards its conclusion, a fan has written a song using one of the band's hits as its backing track, changing the title to A Town Called Paris.

It's the first Tour de France-themed song we've heard played on a ukelele - feel free to flag up any others you know of in the comments - and it's almost certainly the first time that lyrics referencing O.Symetric rings and Tommy Simpson have been included in the same song, not to mention the advice to "stop apologising for that broken collarbone."

The song's performer, YouTube user Whinnom, who posted the video yesterday, said: "A beer-fuelled conversation at Uke Jam turned into a song the next day, but Claire filmed it again and made me look less mad."

Team Sky's head of business operations, Fran Millar, tweeted: "Oh. My. God. Very close to my all time favourite @teamsky fan tribute. Quite simply brilliant."
