The body is a decent length – the same at front and back – so there's no risk of exposing your lower back to sunburn or cold draughts when you're in the saddle. The shallow scoop neck has a short zip so you can flash a bit of cleavage if you fancy.
The Tweet is constructed from Club Ride's Sheer2Dry fabric – breathable, wicking and quick-drying polyester. Like its Bandit jersey, it features built-in factor 20 sun protection (but unlike it there are no mesh inserts).
The Tweet on test is in Divine Wine and the fabric has a slight sheen to it; there's also a patterned Divine Spin (like a reverse of the Divine Wine), or if you prefer a matt appearance you can buy it in Cobalt which looks more like soft cotton.
The designers have had a bit of fun with the two rear pockets. These are lined in the contrasting material and have teardrop-shaped openings. They are easy to access and large enough to accommodate a spare tube and banana. The right-hand one has a media port for threading your earphones through, but there's no collar loop like on the Bandit.
