 I missed this in the TDF coverage, Jens Voigt on a Mavic support bike (small) with toe clips, awesome, the real essence of the sport!

What frame is the bike, does anyone know?

Jens is one of my favorite riders. Thanks for posting the picture.

I think that, if just for the sake of keeping the romanticism of the sport alive, he should be cloned.

Never quite understood why people comment on the bike having toeclips. "Pure old Jens, having to cycle with toe clips. They might as well have sawn his legs off."

Imagine if Eddy Merckx, or any of those guys, had had to cycle with toe clips.

ive heard they were cannondales too

This was in one of the mountain stages this year. Jens crashed at the back with both team cars up the road. So had to get on a mavic bike to chase back on. He got back on the group at the bottom of the last climb and was able to get his real spare bike so wasn't on it for long. Still its only time i can think of that i've ever seen someone use a full mavic bike.
