As you can imagine Lance Armstrong generates a vast amount of news and comment some of it quite bizarre. In the States everything he does is news to someone – including the people who build kitchens.

So if you're tiring of the great man's collarbone here's a look at Lance's kitchen courtesy of the Constant Craftsman. It is "Kick ass" apparently, although our man isn't so keen on the low backed kitchen stools or the "slightly retro vibe" of the chairs… Not that Lance will care he's got 7 miles of bike trails and 448 acres to play with and when he gets back he's got a kitchen big enough to have the entire Astana team round for brekkie and still have room for a few celebrity pals too.

Tony's journey in cycling media started in 1997 as production editor and then deputy editor of Total Bike, acting editor of Total Mountain Bike and then seven years as editor of Cycling Plus. He launched his first cycling website - the Cycling Plus Forum at the turn of the century. In 2006 he left C+ to head up the launch team for Bike Radar which he edited until 2008, when he co-launched the multi-award winning road.cc - finally handing on the reins in 2021 to Jack Sexty. His favourite ride is his ‘commute’ - which he does most days inc weekends and he’s been cycle-commuting since 1994. His favourite bikes are titanium and have disc brakes, though he'd like to own a carbon bike one day.

I'm tuned.

Any chance you'll be going back to do Lance's bathroom as well? If it's on the scale of his kitchen you'll need a boat
