hey Mr. Blackhound any more photos of the Flanders sportif?..would like to see 'em as it sounds like a great ride, one day i'll get out to do it myself. cheers.
Incidentally, chapeau on riding the sportif!
It's always slightly depressing riding here after a week or so of riding in France or Belgium, in my experience.
Slightly at a tangent, but John Herety said something similar on the bikeshow's Ras special. I'm paraphrasing, but it was along the lines of the people who'd been waiting for the race to pass going to the pub that night and telling their friends that they'd seen the Ras. His contention was that racing in Britain won't take off because the people waiting for races to pass go back afterwards and moan about how they had to wait for a load of bikes instead.
