Tour de Tendring bike ride

Come and join us on the hugely popular Tour de Tendring bike ride to raise money for your chosen charity. You can cycle on one of three circular routes around the picturesque district of Tendring - perfect cycling country with quiet roads, low hills and views to the sea. All routes start and finish in Dovercourt - the long route visits the classic seaside resort of Clacton on Sea, famous for its Pier, St Osyth, and Great Bentley which has the biggest village green in England. The routes rejoin in Great Oakley, mentioned in the Domesday Book, before the finish where you can unwind with refreshments, entertainment, and a swimming pool!
The 6 mile family ride is mostly traffic free as it passes through the historic town of Harwich (including Britain's oldest cinema!) up to the coast, passing three lighthouses on the way back to Dovercourt.
Start Venue: Dovercourt Swimming Pool, Wick Lane, Dovercourt, Harwich CO12 3TS
Start time: 20/60 mile 10.30 – 11.30am; 6 mile route 11 – 12am

Are we really meant to believe the cyclist punched off one wing mirror, jumped off his bike, ran around the other side to punch off the other, and...
If a bike-lane is 5h1t3, it should be ripped out. Let's hope a better bike lanes take their place....

My Datum 30 on 35mm tyres is perfect for wet winter rides and local gravel. Fairly sure it will take 38mm tyres if needed.

It would be really weird if it didn't at least go low enough to clamp the seat post or top tube with the bike still standing on the ground. Would...
