JEJames Cycles CycleFest Friendly Sportive
The JEJames CycleFest Friendly gives new and existing cyclists the chance to challenge themselves in the stunning Peak District. The Friendly is a great 'first sportive' event and packs a lot into the 28mile route that offers stunning Peak District Views, climbs and brilliant descents. The undulating route takes in some of the lesser known parts of the Peaks around the Ringinglow and Baslow area. The start takes riders out to the Mayfield Valley, which features a few short and sharp climbs then back to Ringinglow and off into the Peak District where the route takes riders under Stanage and Bamford Edge, before heading back towards HQ taking in Hathersage and the river Derwent, before the final climb. With over 3,000ft of climbing on the route the CycleFest Friendly is a Sportive to challenge all abilities in stunning surroundings.

Praed Street Paddington had wands installed after taxi cabs parked in the cycle lane, now the taxis still park in the cycle lane, inside the wands.
