Bronte Mountain Bike Challenge
This biking event has a routes suitable for all standards of mountain bike and cyclo-cross riders. This will be the 10th Bronte Mountain Bike Challenge in this, the year when the Tour de France Grand Depart will pass our start finish area and even share a small section of our route. There are three routes to choose from called Charlotte; 27 mile extreme challenge route, Emily; intermediate route of 23 miles which was very popular in 2013. and Anne; beginner’s ride of less rugged terrain, approximately 11 miles.
The event starts and finishes at Oxenhope Recreation Ground with the Charlotte and Emily routes at 9.00am, then a 9.30am start for the Anne route. All participants receive a medal, a complimentary water bottle from our sponsors and a complementary hot meal at the finish. There will also be a bar within Oxenhope Community Centre. Emily - £20.00, Charlotte - £20.00, Anne - individual - £12.00, Anne - group - £25.00 (early bird applies)
