Battle of Bradfield | Dark & White Cycling
Tackle the roads and hill climbs in the Bradfield/Stannington/Sheffield area as principally used on the 2014 Tour de France. This is a tough/challenging short sportive with ride options of 63km and 33km with approx 1700m and 700m of ascent respectively. The long route includes the climbs of Oughtibridge, Midehopstones, Bradfield and Strines; the shorter route is primarily in the Bradfield area.
On each route expect:
- A clearly signed/arrowed route
- A feed-station providing juice, water, gels/bars and fruit
- En-route climb information boards
- Colour route map including emergency numbers
- SPORTident chip timing for an instant post-event time
- Refreshments at the finish
- Event Photographer Chris Meads
- Finishing Certificate
- Gold, silver and bronze awards based on your finishing time. Separate women award times
Registration opens at 7.30am - set off riding at any time between 8.00 and 9.30am.
