The Bedford Team Triathlon Relays are back for the 10th year, providing a fun way to compete and enjoy triathlon for experienced triathletes and beginners alike – open to individual teams as well as clubs!
The 3 person team format will be used with 3 x Swim, 3 x Bike and 3 x Run with both the Swim and the run in Box End making for great racing. The bike course is out on the local roads, easy to follow with a mixture of country lanes and some fast sections. This year we are proud to be an East Region Championship event
Full course: Swim 750m: Bike 23k : Run 5k
Triathlon Relay Format: A team consists of 3 athletes, who each complete the swim, the bike, and the run in relay; all three members of the team must complete each discipline in turn before the team moves on to the next discipline. All changeovers between team members take place in transition, In other words, 3 connected relay races using all three Triathlon disciplines.
The event represents great value for a sprint distance triathlon and much more fun too! We are limited to 144 teams so its never too early to reserve your team places
