Hermans was a non-starter today.
For those who hadn't noticed, live streams are now up from the usual sources.
2nd (cat 3) climb
Txurruka (202 - Caja Rural),
Didier (42 - RadioShack)
Hernández (93 - Saxo -Tinkoff)
Biciclismo have corrected it to Didier....he and Txurruka have 3'20" after 45k.
The break has been caught.
1st mountain result :
Txurruka (202 - Caja Rural),
Didier (42 - RadioShack),
Hernández (93 - Saxo -Tinkoff)
Zaugg (96 - Saxo - Tinkoff)
although biciclismo are reporting Didier as Busche so take your own best guess which is which
Diariovasco says Didier
Starting out with
Gilbert

Hmm interesting on Cunego Ray, he never really factored in for me, had I wanted just 1 sprinter and not 2 then he would have slotted into my purists quite nicely. I spent the extra 4 credits and went with Quintana
My standard team is set up for a sprint finish amongst the strong men, Ratto is my tip for days 1 and 2 after his performance in fridays 1 day race. Then I will have 4 transfers to set me up for the summit finishes
Impey
Ratto
Vichot
Wegmann
Cardoso
Fuglsang
Spilak
Talansky
Contador
Purists has a decent balance between potential winners for each of the first 4 stages, a possible breakaway and a some guys that can put in a decent ITT

Purists:Contador,Sanchez,Landa,Gerrans,Herrada,Cobo,Martin,Cunego,Porte
Got to say that I think Cunego's the real bargain in this race?
I think Choo-Choo in the opening break was the most obvious of the season so far
Plus Landa's out there for my purists
