Videos: On-bike footage as Giorgia Bronzini wins on The Mall

Wiggle Honda’s Italian rider outsprints Vos and Armitstead to take Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix

Giorgia Bronzini’s victory in Saturday’s Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix meant two out of two for Wiggle Honda. The team's Laura Trott won last year's inaugural edition, and the Italian’s victory was caught on camera with a film crew following the team at the event as well as on-bike footage.

In the first video, the team plan is set out – attack, attack and attack to try and put under pressure the women who are the world’s top riders at the moment, Marianne Vos of Rabobank-Liv and Boels-Dolman’s Lizzie Armitstead.

Last time Vos and Armitstead sprinted on The Mall, it was the London 2012 Olympic Games with the Dutch woman triumphing over the Briton, and she followed that success by winning the past two World Championship road races.

This time round, Bronzini was in the mix too. She had beaten Vos to the rainbow jersey in both 2010 and 2011, and on Saturday got into her slipstream to pip her to victory – and in a nice touch is immediately congratulated by her rival. Here’s some extended on-bike footage.

Starley Primal... Eileen Roe finished a super, duper fourth.

That is indeed a brilliant effort.

Forgive me, but I went to the team website and assumed that you're James Williams - I clicked on the name expecting a spotty 23-year-old weighing about 8 stone, sorry! Good luck with the last season!

Edit: just managed to watch the vid, how they manage to not touch wheels in that melee is beyond me! Awesome stuff.

"You came fourth? How disappointing to miss the podium, who was on it?"

"Oh, you know... Bronzini, Vos, Armitstead..."
