Video: Six of the Best Disc Braked Road Bikes

We pick one more than five but one less than seven of the best disc brake-equipped road bikes coming your way in 2015

You may have heard this already (possibly even here) but, disc brakes on road bikes are a big thing for 2015. We saw lots and lots and lots last month at Eurobike, the world's biggest bike show. So to whittle down the field for you a bit we've picked out what we reckon are six of the best disc road bikes in this handy, don't-cut-out-but-do-keep video, the first in a series of Six of the Best videos of 2015 bikes.

These six bikes represent what we reckon are the best models currently available. Your views on that may differ though. There are certainly plenty more to choose from, here's a roundup of 2015 disc road bikes. And here's another.

David worked on the road.cc tech team from 2012-2020. Previously he was editor of Bikemagic.com and before that staff writer at RCUK. He's a seasoned cyclist of all disciplines, from road to mountain biking, touring to cyclo-cross, he only wishes he had time to ride them all. He's mildly competitive, though he'll never admit it, and is a frequent road racer but is too lazy to do really well. He currently resides in the Cotswolds, and you can now find him over on his own YouTube channel David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes

Interesting choice, but the commentary was rather bland and inconsistent in treatment between bikes (eg we were told what type of cycling some, but not all, of the bikes were designed for).

The third round up of disc braked bikes for 2015 but none for normal bikes.

C'mon fellas we know you've got to earn a crust but do some proper reviews.

refers to the old cycling/mag features...'cut out and keep' handy guides etc... but as this is a digital forum, I'm guessing - Road.CC being a bit tongue in cheek...

don't-cut-out-but-do-keep....

simples!
