#mycyclingweekend - spooky fog and bumps in the night

The ghouls and ghosts must have been out on Saturday - they turned the sunshine to freezing fog. Boo!

What went bump on Saturday night where you are? We were spookless here at road.cc Towers, but some of you appear to have had some close calls with things of the supernatural variety, even if you didn't realise it at the time.

While we won't be making headlines by publishing proof of paranormal activity, there are a few photos which you lot sent in that could certainly be considered creepy.

Take, for example, Peter Curno's Halloween night ride. Pitch black, and with only a little spotlight for company in deep woodland.

We think we agree with you when you say you must be crazy Peter. You wouldn't catch us alone in the dark on October 31.

On a lighter note, Gareth Wall was joined on his ride by a skeleton.

Elsewhere, some of you were quick to assert your lack of supernatural encounters. But with the sheer number of fog covered photos we were sent, how sure can you be that nothing was lurking in the depths?

Away from all this talk about spooky stuff, the rest of you seemed to have a great time, despite the fact that you'll all be doing a lot more cleaning than you've been used to for the last few months.

But, as we've said before, autumn is such a stunning season to go riding, you can put up with the extra cleaning, right?

Here are a few more beautiful autumnal photos that you sent our way. Stunning, eh?

It's not too late to join in. If you really did spot something creepy over the weekend, send us the photo on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the #mycyclingweekend hashtag clearly included in the caption box.
