Videos: Inside Cannondale Pro Cycling's training camps

Mike Cotty and the Col Collective hook up with UCI WorldTour team

The Col Collective have turned their lenses temporarily away from Cannondale-sponsored Mike Cotty taking on some of cycling’s most iconic climbs and instead spent time on Spain’s Costa Brava with the UCI WorldTour team the US bicycle brands sponsors.

The result is a video that takes you through a day at a training camp, and as the Col Collective says, “Gone are the days off team camp being about a gentle pedal in the sun, with specific training sessions up to seven hours and an opportunity for new riders to meet existing members of the team in preparation for the season ahead.”

They add: “Here we take you inside the team to show you what a typical day in the life of a rider looks like. Sometimes it's the moments away from the spotlight that help define your actions in front of it.

It’s the second Inside Team Camp video that Cannondale has released this week; here’s the first, shot in Australia as the team prepared for the Tour Down Under, including a recce of Willunga Hill, which will provide the finale of the race’s penultimate – and queen – stage on Saturday.

Nice experience you have. I think such camping places will be good for sportsmen. ALso better to use good equipment during training which you can browse everest.com Putting up the tent, starting a fire, cooking a meal; these are all activities that, once completed successfully, can help kids (and adults) build self-confidence.
