Pedal Power celebrates cycling and socialism

New play by Mikron Theatre Company now touring until October

Pedal Power, a new play that celebrates the partnership between cycling and socialism, is currently touring the UK by narrow boat.

The play was written by Richard Povall and is being staged by the Mikron Theatre company based in Huddersfield.

It tells the story of the socialist cyclists of the National Clarion Cycling Club and the last day of business in a 21st century Manchester cycle shop.

The four cast members are touring on a narrow boat called Tyseley until September, when they’ll switch to the road for the final month.

For more information about where Pedal Power will be staged in the coming weeks, visit the Mikron website.
