@Guyver1_ We have dealt with an incident involving a pellet gun however the victim has been spoken to
I hope it was a strongly worded talking to How dare he be shot by a pellet gun!
So the tweeter was not the cyclist shot but just tweeted the picture saying he "thinks" it was Wentloog flats and that the Police were to busy.
So were they to busy or not. Was every officer tasked and was the injured cyclist taken to hospital first. Yet another non story without all the facts by road cc.
South Wales Police replied some 37 minutes after the tweet saying the cyclist had been spoken to and an investigation was being carried out.
It is a shame, the Wentloog road is a favourite with clubs as it is flat and quiet. Sadly over the last few months the, um, residents have become, um, intolerant. Chain gang was driven into, close passes, aggression... low backed trucks piled high with ‘scrap' metal.
Probably some pensioner reading his Daily Fail whilst smoking his cigarette, saw a cyclist and reached for his air-pistol.
