Video: Peter Sagan demonstrates his climbing skills - on a ladder

World champion needed to get over a fence to make the podium presentation at the Tour de Suisse

Peter Sagan got to demonstrate his climbing skills at the Tour de Suisse yesterday - by using two ladders to clamber over a security fence to get to the podium presentation.

Race crew put a ladder in place on either side of the fence before Sagan appeared through some bushes, leading one Twitter user to wonder whether he might have been doing a 'Dumoulin' - a reference to the Giro d'Italia champion's infamous unscheduled toilet break during that race.

Quite how the world champion came to be on the wrong side of the fence is unclear, but with the help of those ladders he managed to make it over the fence to be presented with the points jersey.

Sagan now has a record 15 stage wins in his seven participations in the race, which has been his final major warm-up event for the Tour de  France since before his debut in that race in 2012.
