If we all turn away from our rain-soaked windows and keep our eyes fixed on the summer sales at Hargroves Cycles, Cycle Surgery, and Chain Reaction Cycles, we can all pretend we're not sitting through an early autumn!
That's right! That's the spirit! Keep those eyes on the cycling deals! The offers below are just a few of the great deals amongst a whole host of summer sale items on these three websites.
We start with Hargroves where Specialized's 2017 Tarmac Comp has had a hefty 26% sliced off its asking price, Cycle Surgery follows with a 30% discount on Endura's Oblixe jersey, while Chain Reaction Cycles closes today's DealCatcher off with a 51% price cut on Lezyne's Femto Drive light.
Hargroves Cycles
Specialized Tarmac Comp is one of those bikes that we wish never rolled out of the doors here at road.cc HQ.
Our tech editor Dave Arthur put it through its paces and had no choice but to give it a phenomenal 9/10.
Whether you're a "budding racer" or a "sportive cyclist" Mr Arthur reckons the Tarmac Comp offers the sort of "fast and engaging ride" in a well packaged and smart-looking bike that'll suit you!
The 2017 model available at Hargroves carries Shimano's excellent Ultegra 6800 groupset and DT Swiss's R460 wheels aboard the excellent FACT 10r carbon frame.
Cycle Surgery
If you're after some of the best looking jerseys about, Endura have a pretty great selection.
While we know a lot of the brand's designs are garish, we also know the qulaity of jersey offered is exceptional too.
Looking away from the excellent Oblixe summer jersey above, our most recent fancy Endura jersey review came in June when Neil Gander put the M90 Graphic jersey through its paces.
The jersey got a 9/10 and Neil called it high performing and comfortable.
Endura says that the Oblixee is designed to wick moisture away rapidly, stay well ventilated and fit perfectly thanks to ample silicone grip detailing.
Chain Reaction Cycles
Finally, Lezyne's Femto Drive rounds off today's DealCatcher with a great little opportunity to bling up your cockpit.
Sure, the light's available in colours other than gold, but why would you choose any other colour? Really?
Other than the fancy factor, the Femto Drive packs "more punch" than the modest 15 lumen rating would suggest, while also being both handy and good looking.
Our man Shaun Audane reviewed the light a couple of years back and really liked what he saw.
