A man in the Channel Islands who is raising money for charity has used pedal power to get from Guernsey to Herm.
Graham Glass is believed to be the first person ever to have cycled between the two islands.
He undertook the 4.75, kilometre, 40-minute voyage on Saturday morning on a craft he had built with his friends and which was named Boaty McBikeFace.
The group, who came up with the idea in the pub, are participating in a charity event next year called the Tour de Sez.
The event aims to raise money for the charity the Sarah Groves Foundation, set up by the parents of a woman murdered in Kashmir, India in 2013 at the age of 24 and which aims to enhance young people’s lives.
Established in 2014, the first edition of the Tour de Sez saw 50 cyclists ride from St Malo to Paris, raising £60,000 for the charity.
Last year, 63 riders cycled from St Malo to Bilbao, and raised £200,000.
Next year’s edition will see around 100 cyclists ride from St Malo to Amsterdam, a distance of 750 miles.
Graham's island-hop on Saturday has so far raised almost £2,000 on Just Giving.
