Fake?
Never mind - haven't laughed so much for ages!
@Element2k3...like we really needed that explaination???
Did this on my car many many years ago when I was a stupid gadget freak teenager. Had length of steel tubing under front bumper with bit of insulated wire wool a set length down it which was wired to a switch on my dash board from the battery. Insert rocket in tube, flip switch, wire wool goes red like a cigarette lighter and ignites fuse. Only used on mates cars (no damage done) on deserted roads. Quite funny at the time and surprisingly accurate but horrendous now. Was really annoying to have to stop and get out to reload though.
I think the only thing real is that they inadvertently started a brush fire at the end.
Please tell me folk weren't taking that seriously....
I want one of those, but there needs to be a better system for lighting the fireworks.
Yeah, I was thinking that: surely it could be rigged up to Di2.
You can buy plasma arc lighters in cigarette/cigar/stick form factors on Amazon, which are USB rechargeable; I have a 2 pole stick one and it easily lights paper, melts/burns plastic cord, and is hot enough to melt Silver solder. An extension to the power switch could probably be carefully hacked.
Before you publish an article, make sure that people really get what you are trying to say.
Dafne Fixed is quiet famous within the fixed community in Italy - the guy that fires the firework, is sponsored by Cinelli actually. Anyway, I would give everybody the advice to check the youtube channel and maybe you will understand the big mistake he did by publishing such an article. HINT: they are all friends and they are just acting like if he was angry at the guys on the scooter.
Wait, what, you mean this is a set up
Hmmm, I would suggest that these are much more accurate and indeed will make a bit of a mess of the intended target. http://www.baesystems.com/en-us/product/apkws-laser-guided-rocket
No good if you're on a bit of a budget though, ex USSR military should still be able to make a big splash and there's a shit ton of it about at bargain basement prices, failing that a drone with a blow pipe and poison tipped darts would be acceptable
Probably just a few friends havin a laff
Fake news. So fake. So so fake.
Think you may have been watching Trump too much.
If only this were real...
