A major junction in Central London was brought to a standstill on Monday evening as hundreds of cyclists came together to protest the latest death of a bike rider in the capital and call for safer streets.
The protest, organised by London Cycling Campaign (LCC), saw riders come together at the location close to Holborn Underground station where Dr Peter Fisher was killed last week in a collision with a lorry.
The people present came from every colour of the cycling rainbow.
There were commuters on Bromptons, roadies on drop-bar bicycles, messengers on fixed wheel bikes, people with cargo bikes - some with kids, some with dogs - and people on recumbents.
But for the most part it was ordinary people in ordinary clothes on ordinary bikes,, who want to get around the capital without fear of not arriving home at the end of their journey..
What united them all, though, is that they are calling on Mayor Sadiq Khan to follow through on his pledge to make London "a byword for cycling," and for cycling and walking commissioner Will Norman, and London's boroughs, working alongside City Hall, to make that happen.
We'll have more on this in the morning; in he meantime, there's a gallery of pictures above.

Just what the World Naked Bike Ride have been protesting about for years. When will they listen? How many more have to die? Drivers and cyclists don't mix!
Good effort. Felt like traffic was picking up this morning after the school hol lull with the inevitable rise in inconsiderate driving. As someone said at work; 2 weeks till the end of school hols and 'car-maggedon'.
Tuesday evening? It was yesterday (Monday)!
