It’s back to black – albeit with a hint of blue – for Team Sky next year, its 10th season in the UCI WorldTour.
The jersey, which continues to be designed by Italian firm Castelli, has a blue to black gradient, the blue referencing the team’s support for Sky Ocean Rescue, whose logo appears on the collar.
As with previous iterations of the kit, the back incorporates Team Sky’s signature blue line.
Team Sky Principal Sir Dave Brailsford said: “We’ve enjoyed another fantastic year of collaboration with Castelli and are delighted with our new look for 2019.
“Castelli share our attitude and outlook in their approach to research and development and we have been continually impressed by their pioneering work from the moment our relationship started. They have played a major role in our success over the past two seasons and are a big part of Team Sky.
“This year’s jersey is a special one for the team as we enter our tenth year on the road. The design is befitting of that landmark and we believe this year's kit will be our best performing yet.”
Tour de France champion Geraint Thomas said: “The kit is a nice celebration of our tenth year in the peloton - I can see lots of our old designs in the new look for 2019. I'm looking forward to pulling it on in the New Year.”
The kit will be fully available to buy in the new year, and fans can register their interest here.

This isn't football. Who cares about the latest replica strip/kit?
I care when it has some crafty aerodynamic, physiological or psychological tweak. You would have to pay me handsomlly to wear replica kit. (Well, why else is Froome wearing it? I think his team could spot him in a bunch,)
Much better than last year. Back to being smart.
Froome would look way better if he let his hair grow out a bit more.
And lose some of those famous marginal gains?
I like it.
Still not buying it but I do like it
