Near Miss of the Day 238: Exeter motorist barges in at roundabout

Today’s near miss sees a motorist in Exeter scaring the living hell out of a cyclist by piling in to take the same roundabout exit at the exact same moment.

The incident occurred on Hill Barton Road in Exeter, on the Myrtlebury Avenue roundabout, just before 5.30pm on January 9.

Sean says he’s uploaded the video to the Nextbase dash cam website through which footage is forwarded to the relevant police force.

Over the years road.cc has reported on literally hundreds of close passes and near misses involving badly driven vehicles from every corner of the country – so many, in fact, that we’ve decided to turn the phenomenon into a regular feature on the site.
