Give Sir Paul a break. It's all helping the cause. Complaining about overpriced cycling kit for those with more money than sense is like complaining about sports cars and fancy restaurants. If they feel superior fine - and unlike the other trappings of conspicuous consumption it all means nothing when you sail past them on the hills in your Millets kagool and tatty shorts. Ahhhh. The true capitalist democracy of cycling....
Yours - in my RCS team jersey - but with arm warmers from DHB....
oh for gods sake, in these recession-hit times do we really need this over the top boutique wear that nobody can afford? Quite ridiculous ....
good quality, a bit niche, but Harrods? I had the misfortune of having to go there to pick up something for the wife..wouldn't let me in my cycling gear and I'd made an effort (Rapha gear, cleat covers etc) instead of usual Lycra kit etc.. more over priced tac for the muppets walking their £3000 fixed gears and Pinarello's round Hyde Park...but hey at least they'll look cool
