Tokyo Fixed introduce ONO lo-pro frameset

London bike shop Tokyo Fixed is slowly but surely expanding its range of own-brand bicycle frames (we're testing their new Road Rocket at the moment) with the latest, the ONO, being announced recently.

A lo-pro frame, the new ONO is born for slicing through the city traffic, hence its name, which is Japanese for hatchet. A dramatically forward sloping top tube is the chief design feature, inspired by pursuit track bikes, which Tokyo Fixed says puts you in the 'position for speed'. Well, it'll certainly put you in an aggressive aero position for maximum attack for the Blackfriars Bridge sprint...

It's made from Columbus Zona tubing with a beefy Columbus Max down tube, and it's all fillet brazed together. A carbon fibre fork with an alloy steerer, drilled for a brake, slots into the 1 1/8in headset. Spacing at the rear dropouts is 120mm and there's clearance for 25mm tyres.

The ONO's finish is the results of a collaboration with famed artist Death Spray Custom. The wet spray finish combines two colours and no decals and has been achieved with pure masking. Death Spray is a London-based artist who has painted everything from BMX's to motorbikes to jerry cans to Ducati motorbikes. From these photos the finish looks splendid.

Geometry for a 55cm frame is 73.5 degree head angle and 74 seat angle with a 60mm bottom bracket drop and a short 134mm head tube.
