The Summit line is Pactimo's top end range and the Speed jersey utilises technical fabrics to combine comfort and aerodynamics.

They use a mixture of fabrics in the manufacture of the Speed jersey with each one positioned where its properties will benefit the most.
The shoulders and sleeves are made from Powergrid, polyester with a high 30% spandex content which means a tight contoured fit for aerodynamics. Crouched on the drops other than your head the shoulders are the first thing to cut through the wind so you don't want material flapping around here.
The main body goes for a race fit to, though not quite as extreme as the shoulders. The Matrix HC is Pactimo's own fabric and is designed to be stretchy in pretty much all directions. The beauty of it is that it stays close to the body regardless of your ride position so you don't get any irritating bunching of material around your stomach or chest. The rear uses a much lighter fabric designed to remove heat and with the adding of carbon material it is reckoned to reduce heat and odours. The Speed doesn't seem to be an overly warm jersey so the material is obviously doing its job.
The overall fit is very good, It's contoured without being too extreme and thanks to the shoulder and sleeve material it's nice and supportive too. The dropped tail and short front panels give good coverage when in the saddle and they stay put thanks to a silicone waist gripper.
Pactimo say that the rear three pockets are smaller than standard which I'm guessing is for increased aerodynamics but I can't say I really noticed. I could still carry my usual tube, pump etc on each ride. There is an added internal pocket which looks water resistant and more secure for valuables due to closure flap. You'll also find a slot for a race radio/mp3 headphone cable.
The build quality is impressive with neat finishing and tidy stitching. Going by the three-year-old, Pactimo-made road.cc jersey in my wardrobe longevity isn't going to be an issue.
In use the Speed jersey is lovely and comfortable thanks to each panel doing its job without you really noticing it and in my eyes any item of clothing that you pay no attention to when riding is a good item. It's well priced to at £80 which isn't too over the top when compared to the opposition especially when you take the quality into account.ove heat and with the adding of carbon material it is reckoned to reduce heat and odours. Not sure if it's just how it displays in my browser, but this seems to be a bit of an unedited review.
Sounds like a good jersey though.
