At £110 the Sugoi RSE bib shorts are not the cheapest around but with Sugoi you get a lot of kit for your money.
I wore these out of the packet for the 200km audax that Dave and I took part in a couple of months back and they were extremely comfortable. The FXE chamois that Sugoi use in these shorts is anti bacterial, seamless and 'naturally thermoregulated'...they kept me comfy. They arent inconspicuous when off the bike though, somthing that is obvious when wandering round the house before a ride or at a cake stop mid-way but then these arent for wandering around or to accommodate tasty treats, these are for cycling and they work extremely well.
The FXE chamois uses three different desnities of foam to reduce the impact of shocks and knocks when riding. In this premium price bracket there is a lot of competition and for £110 you want to know the shorts are going to treat you well and last. Good news, these are superb.
The braces, unlike other cheaper shorts, were barely noticable, no cutting at the shoulders, no pinching and no need to fidget for a good fit. These also have a small rear bocket for n mp3 player (should you use one when riding) or more likely some malt loaf, keys or an energy bar.
The test pair were in a black and white which I found quite nice but some may find too obvious so Sugoi kindly do an all black version too. A little bobbling on the seams after a fair few rides but no signs of anything coming away
Verdict
A top dollar pair of shorts with performance to match. I have got my next pair winging their way from Sugoi as we speak. I will save up and stock up because these are superb

Ah yes, just spotted where "performance line" is quoted on the website. Couldn't see any that fall into both 'evolution' and 'performance' line...
TRP cable-actuated hydraulic calipers, haven't tried them myself but reviews generally rate them as better than cable-only brakes such as Sora. I...
And we can be sure that Police Scotland would be similarly disinterested...
The self-professed cyclists are really self-claimed cyclists of the 'I'm a cyclist myself' variety
They should read scampercraft and not exaggerate the danger of scuttling along. I discourage squirrel predation by acting like one.
You can get the Varia for £10 less from Decathlon.
Perhaps they should apply the same standard to dangerous, unsafe, poorly designed roads and COMPLETELY rip them out rather than "fix" or "redesign"...
