SRAM makes very good bicycle components. It is also pretty handy at marketing. It has just released this slick video that explains how and why it has developed the new eTap wireless groupset. 

After the kerfuffle with the hydraulic disc brake recall a few years ago during which it no doubt lost a few customers and fans, the unveiling of eTap, the only wireless groupset on the market, has put it firmly back on many people's radar.

There's been so much demand for it, in fact, that the first shipments have completely sold out.

SRAM also has two teams using eTap in the WorldTour this year. There's AG2R, who were racing it in development guise last year, and new signing Katusha (though who knows how long they'll retain their WorldTour license for is anyone's guess).
