It's not really about that is it? It's just that Cav, for all his talents, seems to be a clear winner in the ego stakes among his peers.
He's won 44 GT stages and the points classifications at all three, a monument, three World titles on the track and one on the road, British titles on the road and track, the Commonwealth road title, a Six-Day event, an assortment of lesser stage race GCs, and a load of other stuff, and is widely considered to be one of the finest bunch-sprint riders ever.
Ego, you say? I think he's allowed to try and flog a few lids.

I totally agree. Cavendish is a legend!
"designed especially for sprinters"
So no better than a standard lid for 99.5% of cycling forum users.
But as it's £60 more expensive than the equally good (and very similar) Rivale it's a must-have purchase.
i don't want one but I think the point is to suggest it's even better than a "normal" aero helmet if it's ideal for sprinters, in which case it's at least as good for normal racers as a normal aero helmet.
Where can you buy the Rivale in the Team DD colourway though? I contacted Met and got no reply. Maybe they don't want the public to have it?
I believe the Rivale in the Team DD colourway is available in May sometime soon. Just check their wesbite for retailers in your area and they can order it in.
Mark who?
Shouldn't that be the CVNDSH MNT?
There's no denying his ability & achievements on a bike but does anybody else think he's taking this green thing a bit too far? Would Sagan tinge everything in green if he launched his own products? You know, seeing as he's won the green jersey more times than Cav.

I'm not sure it's anything to do with the green jersey, I don't think it has ever been about it with any of his products, regardless of what Road.cc think. I think he just likes black and green.
